{LIST_BOX
------------------
USING THE LIST BOX
------------------
The List Box allows you to select from a group of options, such as
file names or page titles. The item with the dotted border around it
represents the currently active item. If the list contains file names
a solid bar across the top of the list box shows you which drive and
directory is currently active. Choose a different item by using the UP
and DOWN arrow keys along with the PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN and HOME and END
keys. When the dotted border surrounds the item you want, press ENTER
to select it.
To advance directly to items beginning with a specific letter, simply
type the letter and QuikMenu finds the first item in the list that
starts with that letter. Press the letter again to view the next item.
You may also use the mouse to scroll through the list and select an
item. Clicking the and buttons will move the window one item at a
time. Clicking and dragging the scroll button up or down allows you to
scroll quickly through the list. You can also scroll one page at a
time by clicking the shaded area between the buttons and the
scroll button.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
IF THE LIST BOX CONTAINS FILES...
Drives, directories and files each appear with a different icon symbol
to the left of the item. Selecting a directory displays a list of all
files within that directory. Selecting the parent directory (..),
moves you up one level in the directory tree, while the (\) symbol
takes you all the way back to the root directory of the current drive.
If there are more files and directories than will fit in the list box,
use the scroll buttons to bring additional items into view.
The Find option allows you to change the types of files displayed in
the List Files window and to search across an entire drive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To cancel this option, select the Cancel button or press ESC.
}
{DIR_MASK
----------------------
USING THE FIND COMMAND
----------------------
The Find option allows you to change what type of files will be
displayed in the List Files window.
You may use any standard DOS file name specifications; for example,
the wild card options * and ?, parts of file names, parts of
extensions or even full file names. Leave the Directory Mask field
blank to display only *.BAT, *.COM and *.EXE files.
Select the Search Entire Drive option (Alt/S) to locate files
regardless of which directory they're in.
}
{SEND_MAIL
------------
SENDING MAIL
------------
You can send electronic mail (E-Mail) to anyone on your network who is
using QuikMenu. You have a choice of creating your message with the
built-in mail editor (Alt/E) or sending an ASCII text file (Alt/F)
created with another program, such as a word processor.
USING THE MAIL EDITOR
If you select Use Mail Editor, QuikMenu will display the Mail Editor
screen where you can type the text for your messages.
SENDING A TEXT FILE
To send a text file, you must first create the message in another
program. This feature is handy when, for example, you've already
written a memo in your word processor and want to send it to another
user. For best results, you should convert the file to ASCII text
before sending it as mail.
}
{ADDRESS_MAIL
---------------
ADDRESSING MAIL
---------------
Enter the name of the person you wish to receive the mail in the To
field. You can select from a list of available users by choosing the
F5=List button. To send mail to multiple users, enter the additional
names separated by spaces.
Choosing Send To All Users (Alt/S) will send mail to everyone using
QuikMenu on the network.
The Subject field is optional and will appear on the message line in
the receiver's mailbox.
}
{MAILBOX
--------------------------
USING THE QUIKMENU MAILBOX
--------------------------
Your user name and the number of messages waiting for you will appear
at the top of the mailbox. If you have messages, the mailbox lists the
date, time, sender and subject of each message. From here, you can
view messages, send and reply to mail, or print, save and delete
messages.
To view a message, use the UP and DOWN arrow keys to highlight the
desired entry and press ENTER. If you have a mouse, simply click the
desired message. QuikMenu immediately displays the selected message on
the screen.
To end your Mail session, select the Done command with the mouse or
press ESC.
NOTE: You can also access the Mail option, if you have mail in your
mailbox, by clicking the envelope symbol in the upper left corner of
the screen.
}
{VIEWING_MAIL
------------
VIEWING MAIL
------------
Once you've reviewed an E-mail message, you can choose one of the
command buttons at the top of the mail viewer screen.
Reply (Alt/R) The reply option allows you to quickly send a
response to the user who sent the message. Type your
message in the text editor and select Send (Alt/S). The
message will be automatically addressed and sent.
Forward Mail (Alt/F) The Forward Mail option allows you pass the
message along to someone else on the network. You can
forward to more than one person by entering more than
one user name.
Copy to File (Alt/C) Use the Copy command to save messages outside
of QuikMenu. For example, you may want to save a
message to a file in your word processor's directory.
You will need to enter the complete path along with a
file name (for example: C:\WPFILES\MEMO.TXT).
Print (Alt/P) This option prints a hard copy of the current
message.
Delete (Alt/L) Use this option to remove old messages from
your mailbox. Messages stay in your mailbox until
they're deleted.
Done (Alt/D) Leaves the mail viewer and returns to the
mailbox screen. You will be asked if you want to delete
the current message before exiting the viewer.
}
{SETUP_PALETTE
-------------
PALETTE SETUP
-------------
If you have a VGA monitor, you can modify the palette of colors that
QuikMenu uses to display your menu on the screen. The palette command
allows you to change the percentages of cyan, magenta and yellow that
compose each color.
Select a color to modify by clicking one of the color boxes with the
mouse or by pressing ALT/O or SHIFT/ALT/O. Next, click the (+) or (-)
buttons next to the desired color control with the mouse. Using the
keyboard press ALT/C or SHIFT/ALT/C for Cyan, ALT/M or SHIFT/ALT/M for
Magenta, ALT/Y or SHIFT/ALT/Y for Yellow or ALT/B or SHIFT/ALT/B for
Brightness.
The percentage of color is indicated by the graph and numeric value
next to the (+) button. The Brightness control adds (+) or subtracts
(-) equal amounts of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow simultaneously.
If you dislike the new colors, the original settings may be restored
by selecting the Default button (ALT/D).
NOTE: Color changes appear only while in QuikMenu and should not
interfere with other programs. Your color scheme may be saved under
a special name by using the Save Colors command under the Setup/
Screen button.
}
{SETUP_MAIL
----------
MAIL SETUP
----------
Select the Check Mailbox Continuously option if you want QuikMenu to
check your mailbox every 10 seconds while QuikMenu is on the screen.
You will be notified of new mail arrivals as they occur. If this
option is turned off QuikMenu will only check your mailbox when: (1)
you first start QuikMenu; (2) after running a program or DOS option;
or (3) when you manually activate the Mail command from the Utilities
menu.
You can also specify and/or hide a directory where QuikMenu will send
and receive mail.
NOTE: The Mail directory must be the same for all users accessing
the Mail feature. The directory must be accessible to all users and
all users must have Read, Write and Delete privileges in the
directory.
}
{SETUP_DISPLAY
------------
SCREEN SETUP
------------
Color (ALT/O) Changes the color of the selected
QuikMenu item. To select an item, choose the
F5=List button and choose from the list of
interface elements, such as the menu background,
command buttons, etc. Scroll down the list using
the mouse or arrow keys until the desired item
is highlighted. Press ENTER or click the item
with the mouse. Press ALT/O or SHIFT/ALT/O
until the desired color is highlighted or click
on the color with the mouse.
Load Color/ Use Save to save your color scheme under a name
Save Color you specify. Use Load to import a previously
saved color scheme.
Default (ALT/E) Lets you set all your screen color
selections back to the original default values.
Use PCX Image (ALT/P) If you have any PCX graphics files
created by draw or paint programs, you can use
one of those files as your menu background.
Select this option if you want to use such a
file. See Choose File below.
Choose File (ALT/F) Lets you select from a list of .PCX files
(if any) on your computer system.
Sound Effects (ALT/S) QuikMenu occasionally emits audible beeps
and tones in response to certain menu actions. If
you'd prefer not to hear them, simply turn this
option off. (Default is off.)
Confirm... (ALT/C) Requests a confirmation (Yes/No) before
running a program. Confirm also affects the DOS
and Exit commands. Page Buttons are not affected
and some password settings supersede this option.
3-D Interface (ALT/I) Allows QuikMenu's three-dimensional
interface to be turned off.
Display Speed Keys (ALT/D) Allows the speed key character in front
of the icon text to be turned off. All speed keys
remain fully functional; the only difference is
that they are not displayed.
Display Grid (ALT/G) Displays a grid for reference when
positioning and sizing icons on the menu.
Snap To Grid (ALT/N) Automatically snaps icons to the grid
when positioning and sizing menu icons. The grid
need not be visible to use this feature.
PCX Memory Options Use these boxes to specify the type of memory
present on your system, into which QuikMenu can
load a background wallpaper image.
}
{SETUP_CLOCK
---------------
DATE/TIME SETUP
---------------
This is probably as simple as it appears, much like setting a digital
watch. Backspace (if necessary) over the existing numbers and type the
new information. Press TAB to move to the next field. Indicate whether
the time is AM (ALT/A) or PM (ALT/P). You may also, indicate whether
you are using a 12-Hour or 24-Hour clock by clicking on the Hour
option (ALT/H).
NOTE: This function may not work correctly on some PC's and XT's
since there is no standard among clock cards used by these machines.
In any event, the worst that could happen is that your computer will
forget the time when it's turned off.
}
{SETUP_PASSWORD
--------------
PASSWORD SETUP
--------------
The Password function is used to prevent unauthorized users from
running the DOS Shell, modifying the menu, viewing the Time Log, using
the File Manager and leaving QuikMenu.
Select the command you want to protect by using the F5=List option.
Your selection will appear in the box next to the List button. Type
your password in the text field. Select Hide This Button (Alt/H) if
you do not want the button to display on the menu.
Hidden command buttons cannot be accessed via the mouse. Keyboard
access, however, is still available. Functions that are to have
restricted access should also be password protected. Some commands
cannot be hidden, others cannot be protected. The options available
vary according to the command you select from the List Box. For
example, if a command cannot be password protected, the Password entry
box will not be visible.
If you use this feature, be sure to remember your passwords. A
forgotten password means you will not be able to access the protected
options.
The Master Password item on the list should be assigned by
an administrator or other person so that the normal passwords may be
overridden should the system's user forget a password or should that
person become ill or quit (or even if the kids accidently assign
a password to your system). Usually, the Master Password should be
written down and kept in a secure place.
NOTE: If you hide the Modify button it can be activated by pressing
ALT/M.
}
{SETUP_LOG
--------------
TIME LOG SETUP
--------------
The Time Log option allows you to turn the time log on or off and to
change the name of the log file. The default name for the log file is
QM.LOG. The information in the Time Log can be accessed via the Log
command button in the Utility menu.
}
{SETUP_MOUSE
-----------
MOUSE SETUP
-----------
Use this option to adjust the sensitivity of your mouse. The higher
the setting (Slow/Medium/Fast), the less desk space you'll need to
move the mouse across the screen.
}
{SETUP_DIALER
------------
DIALER SETUP
------------
If you have a Hayes compatible modem, use this option to tell QuikMenu
which port it's attached to by selecting the appropriate COM button
(Com1..Com4). If you have a modem, but you're not sure which port it's
using, there is a general rule of thumb: if you don't have a mouse,
your modem is probably on Com1, and if you do have a mouse, your modem
is probably on Com2. You may also need to tell QuikMenu whether your
telephone company expects a Pulse or Tone type phone.
NOTE: Com3 and Com4 may not work with some systems since they are
not directly supported by DOS.
}
{SETUP_BLANKER
--------------------
SCREEN BLANKER SETUP
--------------------
The Screen Blank function lets you choose an option that displays if
no keyboard or mouse activity occurs after a specified number of
minutes. This screen-saver helps to protect your monitor if you leave
your QuikMenu screen unattended for periods of time.
Select one of the screen blank options from the list by pressing the
ALT key and the underlined letter in the option name.
One option, Screen Shuffle (Alt/S), requires a choice of Small
(Alt/A), Medium (Alt/M) or Large (Alt/L). Screen Shuffle displays a
continuously overlapping series of rectangles on the screen. Your
determines the size of the rectangles.
Preview You can see how each screen blank option looks on your
screen before you finalize your decision. The preview will
stay on the screen until you move the mouse or press a key.
Interval Use the Interval option to enter how many minutes should
elapse before the Screen Blank option is activated.
Backspace (if necessary) over the existing number and type
your selection. Enter a 0 (zero) here to turn the screen
blanker off.
NOTE: The screen blanker only works while you are in QuikMenu, not
in other programs.
}
{SETUP_MAIN
-----------------------
USING THE SETUP COMMAND
-----------------------
The Setup option provides you with the ability to personalize many
features of QuikMenu. You can use Setup to change the background
color, set the date and time, change the mouse speed, password protect
many QuikMenu functions, set the Time Log and tell the Dialer where to
find your modem.
}
{LOG_SORT
-------------------------
CREATING YOUR OWN REPORTS
-------------------------
The Time Log Search option allows you to change the search criteria,
the date range or the format of the log report.
Report Title This is the heading that will appear at the top of each
page when your report is printed. The heading can also
be seen at the top of the QuikMenu screen in the Title
Bar.
Sort By Select the Program button (Alt/P) to sort log entries
alphabetically by name. Choose the Date button (Alt/D)
to sort log entries in chronological order.
View As This option controls the level of detail displayed by
the Time Log. The Summary option (Alt/S) displays each
log entry only once and shows the total number of times
and percentage of total daily time each item was used.
The Detail option (Alt/D) shows time in, time out,
total time, and, on networks, user name for each item.
Find... Use this option to locate specific programs or projects
within the Time Log. For example, typing "Word" might
find entries for "WordPerfect," "Wordstar" and "Word
Processing," anything that begins with "Word." Items
like "The Word" and "Windows Word" would not be found
because they do not begin with "Word." To find all
entries, leave this field blank.
Start Date You may want to create a report for a specific range of
dates. In the text fields, type in the month, day and
year for the beginning of the report. Use the Tab key
to move from field to field. Leave these fields blank
to search from the beginning of the file.
End Date In the text fields, type in the month, day and year for
the end of the report. Use the Tab key to move from
field to field. Leave these fields blank to search from
the start date to today's date.
Match User... Enter a name in this field to limit the log report to
a specific user. Leave this field blank to show
activity for all users. (Networks only.)
NOTE: If both the Start Date and End Date are blank, all entries
will be searched.
}
{LOG
------------------
USING THE TIME LOG
------------------
QuikMenu's Time Log is a valuable resource for consultants,
secretaries, lawyers or anyone who keeps track of expenses on the
basis of time. This can also serve to track computer usage for
tax purposes. The Time Log allows you to view, sort and print a
variety of reports based on how long and how often you use your
computer.
The log keeps track of programs by the name you assign to your
Software Icons. It may be helpful to keep a separate page of Icons for
specific projects and give each icon a unique project name. For
example, page 6 might contain a "Jones Word Processor," a "Jones
Database" and a "Jones Spreadsheet."
All Time Log information is stored in a file, usually in the QuikMenu
directory on your hard drive. The default log file name is QM.LOG. You
can change the name of this file, as well as turn the Time Log on and
off, from within the Setup dialog box.
Once the Time Log is activated, it becomes completely transparent to
the user. Simply use the menu as you always have - running programs,
DOS operations, etc. and QuikMenu will automatically record when and
how long you access each program.
Search (ALT/S) The Search option allows you to change the search
criteria, the date range or the format of the log report.
Print (ALT/P) Select the Print option to send the Time Log report
to your printer. Printed Time Log reports are very similar
to the ones displayed on the screen, with the exception of
page breaks, page headings and page numbers.
Done (ALT/D) Use the Done command to end your session with the
Time Log.
To leave the Time Log select the Done command (ALT/D) or press ESC.

{ICON_EDITOR
---------------------
USING THE ICON EDITOR
---------------------
Each QuikMenu icon is composed of 1024 pixels (dots) displayed on the
screen in a grid 32 pixels high and 32 pixels wide. Icons are created
by assigning colors to each pixel in the grid to produce various
shapes and patterns.
DRAWING WITH THE KEYBOARD: In the upper left corner of the drawing
area is a tiny cross hair. Using the cursor keys, position the cross
hair in the drawing area where you want to begin painting. Next, hold
down the SHIFT key and press one of the cursor keys again. As the
cross hair moves over the drawing area, it leaves a trail of pigment
(the current pen color).
DRAWING WITH THE MOUSE: Move the mouse pointer into the drawing area
where you want to begin drawing. Press and hold the mouse button. Your
drawing will start at this point. While holding the mouse button down,
slide the mouse in any direction. Notice that the mouse leaves a trail
of pigment as it moves across the drawing area.
Icon (ALT/I) Select this button to modify the icon. This
button will already be activated when you start the
icon editor.
Mask (ALT/M) Select this button to modify the icon's mask.
The mask is almost always identical to the icon, except
that it's entirely composed of black pixels.
Invert (ALT/N) The Invert option will reverse all colors in
the drawing area.
Copy (ALT/C) The Copy Mask/Icon option is usually used in
the Mask mode to copy the icon image to the mask.
Clear (ALT/E) Selecting Clear will erase the current drawing
area.
Export (ALT/X) The Export feature allows you to save an
individual icon image for use on another system.
Import (ALT/T) The Import function allows you to load an icon
image or PCX file into the icon editor.
Pen Color (ALT/P, SHIFT/ALT/P) Pen or drawing colors can be
selected one of two ways: either by clicking a color
with the mouse, or by holding down the ALT key and
pressing the letter P until the desired color is
highlighted.
Up,Dn,Lt,Rt (ALT/U, ALT/D, ALT/L, ALT/R) These commands allow you
to shift the icon image or mask. Just click on the
button indicating the direction you want the image to
shift.
Save (ENTER) Selecting Save updates the icon list and writes
any changes you may have made to the disk.
Cancel (ESC) Choose cancel to abandon any changes made during
this editing session.

The Import function allows you to retrieve:
* icons that have been saved using QuikMenu's Export feature
* Icons from Microsoft Windows version 3.X
* A portion of a PCX file to use as an icon
Icon Select this option to import an icon created by QuikMenu or
Microsoft Windows.
PCX File Use this option to clip a portion of a PCX file to use as an
icon.
NOTE: Compatible Windows icons use the .ICO extension.
}
{ICON_EXPORT
---------------
EXPORTING ICONS
---------------
The Export feature allows you to save an individual icon image for use
on another system. Export can also be used to copy an icon. This is
done by exporting the icon, selecting Add (Alt/A) from the Icon
Selector and then importing the icon into a blank drawing area.
Enter the drive, directory and file name you wish to use for the
exported icon.
For example: C:\QUIKMENU\SAMPLE.PCX
To export the icon as a PCX file, add the letters ".PCX" as an
extension to the filename (as in the example above). To export as a
NeoPaint stamp image, substitute the letters "ST" following the
period. Windows icons may be denoted by using a ".ICO" extension.
QuikMenu will automatically add the ".ICO" extension and export the
icon in Windows format if no extension is provided.
NOTE: Due to format incompatibilities color icons cannot be
transferred to monochrome or CGA systems, and monochrome or CGA
icons cannot be transferred to color systems. This limitation can be
avoided by adding an .ICX extension to the icon's file name during
the export procedure.
}
{ICON_SELECT
-----------------------
USING THE ICON SELECTOR
-----------------------
The Icon Selector allows you to choose an icon image to represent an
item on the menu. For example, you could use a filing cabinet icon to
represent a database or a pencil icon to represent a word processor.
The Icon Selector is actually very simple to use. A movable window in
the center of the dialog box displays 50 icons at a time. The square
box inside the icon window represents the currently selected icon. Use
the Arrow keys, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN, HOME and END keys to select an
icon from the list. You may also select an icon by clicking the icon
with the mouse. When the desired icon is highlighted, select the Ok
button to tell QuikMenu that's the one you want to use.
Add (ALT/A) Select this option to create a new icon.
Edit (ALT/E) Use this option to modify an existing icon.
The Add and Edit command buttons are used to activate the Icon Editor.
QuikMenu's Icon Editor allows you to edit existing icons as well as
create icons of your own.

screens with descriptive names like "DOS Commands," "Games," "Sally's
Programs", "ACME Supply Co." or whatever.
To change the page title, backspace over the existing text and type
the new title. You can also change the title of other pages by
pressing the PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN keys until the desired title appears
in the text field. The number of the affected page is displayed at the
top of the dialog box.

EDITING SOFTWARE ICONS
----------------------
Software Icons allow you to run programs, format disks, backup
directories and perform other tasks. For example, a typical QuikMenu
user might create a Software Icon called WordPerfect to represent
their word processing software. The icon makes loading WordPerfect as
easy as pressing a single key or clicking the mouse.
Speed Key This is the key on your keyboard that will be used to
activate the Software Icon. Valid choices are the
letters A through Z, numbers 0 through 9 and
characters: @ # $ & * ( ) + { } [ ] : ; ? ! / | \ " ^
- _ ~ . , << >> = ` '.
Name This is the text that will appear inside the Software
Icon when it's displayed on the screen. Text may be
displayed on multiple lines by using a tilde (~)
character to represent line breaks.
Location This is the drive/directory location for the program or
DOS option. E.g., C:\WP51. See List Programs below.
Command This is the command that DOS uses to activate the
program or DOS option. For example, if you normally
load your word processor by typing WP at the DOS prompt
(C:\), then enter WP here. Your software or DOS manuals
are the best place to find this information. (See List
Programs below.) QuikMenu III contains a number of very
powerful command line features. Please refer to the
README.DOC file or to your User's Guide for details.
List Programs (F5) This is an alternative method for filling in the
Location and Command fields above. This options lists
the executable programs (*.BAT, *.COM and *.EXE)
installed on your system. Simply highlight the program
you want and press ENTER. The Location and Command
fields will be automatically filled in.
Password The Password option allows you to prevent unauthorized
users from activating and/or modifying the icon.
Style Use the Style option to select icon, color, font and
alignment choices to represent the icon on the menu.
Pause (ALT/P) Select this option if you want the program to
pause after it's finished and prompt you with a "Strike
any key when ready..." message.
Ask... (ALT/A) Inserts a question ([Select A File=*.*]) into
the Command field requesting QuikMenu to display a list
of files whenever this icon is activated.
Editor (F2) Starts QuikMenu's Text Editor and automatically
loads or creates any batch file found at the beginning
of the command line.
Once you finish, press ENTER to save or ESC to cancel your entries.

EDITING PAGE ICONS
------------------
Page Icons are used to move between pages within a menu. For example,
page one might contain a icon labeled "Games" which is linked to page
five. Page five might contain several items related to game software
as well as a "Go Back" icon for returning to page one.
Speed Key This is the key on your keyboard that will be used to
activate the Page Icon. Valid choices are the letters
A through Z, numbers 0 through 9 and characters: @ # $
& * ( ) + { } [ ] : ; ? ! / | \ " ^ - _ ~ . , << >> =
` '.
Name This is the text that will appear inside the Page Icon
when it's displayed on the screen. You can instruct
QuikMenu to display the icon text as multiple lines by
using a tilde (~) character to represent line breaks.
Link To... Type the number of the page you want to link with this
Icon. Valid page numbers are 1 to 50. (See List Pages
below.) If you place an asterisk (*) in this field
instead of a page number, the icon will always return
to the previous page regardless of it's position in the
menu.
List Pages This serves as an alternative method for filling in the
Name and Link To Page Number fields above. Selecting
this option displays a dialog box containing a list of
page titles for all 50 QuikMenu pages.

{EDIT_MACRO_ITEM
-------------------
EDITING MACRO ICONS
-------------------
Macro Icons are used to combine a large number of keystrokes and/or
mouse actions into one. Macros can be used to automate repetitive menu
tasks such as copying files, changing QuikMenu's setup or even running
several programs in succession. Many programs that feature macros
require that you learn a complicated programming language before you
can create a macro. QuikMenu, on the other hand, doesn't have a macro
language. Instead, QuikMenu includes an easy-to-use macro recorder.
Simply turn the recorder on, perform the functions you want automated,
turn the recorder off and a macro is automatically created for you.
Speed Key This is the key on your keyboard that will be used to
activate the Macro Icon. Valid choices are the letters
A through Z, numbers 0 through 9 and characters: @ # $
& * ( ) + { } [ ] : ; ? ! / | \ " ^ - _ ~ . , << >> =
` '.
Name This is the text that will appear inside the Macro Icon
when it's displayed on the screen. You can instruct
QuikMenu to display the icon text as multiple lines by
using a tilde (~) character to represent line breaks.
File Name This is the name of the file where QuikMenu will store
all the keystrokes and/or mouse actions that comprise
the macro. If you're creating a new macro, this should
be a file that doesn't already exist.
List Macros Use this option to select from a list of macros that
have already been created. A file name selected from
the list box will be placed into the File Name field.
Password The Password option allows you to prevent unauthorized
users from activating and/or modifying the icon.
Style Use the Style option to select the icon, color, font
and alignment choices to represent the icon on the
menu.
Playback This option allows you to vary the macro's execution
speed.
Record The Record option saves the Macro Icon and starts the
Macro Recorder. If you are adding a new macro to the
menu, you will first be asked to place the macro's icon
on the page. After placing the icon, you will enter
record mode (noted at the bottom of the screen). To
create the macro, simply perform the menu functions you
want to automate. Any functions you perform while the
recorder is on will be stored in the file you specified
in the File Name field above. When the macro is
complete, turn the recorder off by pressing F10.
To play back a recorded macro, select the macro's icon. Macro playback
may be interrupted by pressing F10.
After you have completed your entries, press ENTER to save them or ESC
to cancel.

dial when it's activated. The number should be exactly
the same as if you were dialing it manually. For
example: 1-800-555-1234. Place a comma (,) in the
telephone number to insert a 2 second delay. For
example, 9,555-1234 would dial 9, wait 2 seconds, then
dial 555-1234.
