MAKING MOVIES
VeriScope generates movies by taking a series of KEY
FRAMES and filling in the blanks between them.
To record key frames push the dot (period) key while in the
WALKTHRU or 3-D WALK modes. The number of key frames
is recorded on the right side of the reminder bar. To reset the
key frames to zero, click on the KEY FRAMES option.
After you have recorded a series of key frames, click on the
MOVIE option. You will be asked to name the movie file. The
default name is the same as the MOD file that you are working
on. Click the OK button and you will find the movie dialogue
box.
Click on the box that says Number of Frames. Type in the total
number of frames you want. If you want to generate a movie
that repeats itself click on the Closed loop button. This means
that the last frame of the movie is the same as the first. No
starting or ending acceleration is added. After you have
chosen the number of frames, the EDIT FRAMES option box
lights up. VeriScope chooses the number of frames between
each key frame but you can specify your own values. Each
time you change the total number of frames or the CLOSED
LOOP button a new set of between values will be generated.
You can preview the movie by clicking on the PREVIEW option.
This is the edit frames menu:
The movie is generated according to the current SHADE STYLE
and FLC option under the custom variables.
X->Y->Z option changes the primary axis of the drawing.
