  20.  **a. How to Play Monte Carlo Patience**

  23.         There are many variations of the game of Solitaire,
  24.         Monte Carlo Patience is one variation.
  25.  
  26.         Each game round starts with twenty four cards dealt face
  27.         upwards to the board in four rows of six cards each.
  28.  
  29.         The object of the game is to eliminate all 52 playing
  30.         cards. Any two cards of the same rank that touch each
  31.         other, either at the top or bottom, or at either side, or
  32.         at one of the four corners can be eliminated by clicking
  33.         on the two matching cards.

  35.         If you click on the 'DEAL' button, the lay-out of the
  36.         board is consolidated by closing up the rows from right
  37.         to left and from bottom to top.

  39.         The game is won if all 52 cards are eliminated.

  44.         To run Monte Carlo Patience, you'll need the following system:

  46.                 An IBM-compatible, 386 or better computer
  47.                 Two Megabytes of RAM

  50.                 Hard Disk with two Megabytes free

  53.         You'll have more fun with these recommended additions:

  61.         1. To get started with Monte Carlo Patience on a hard disk:
  62.                 a. Insert the Monte Carlo Patience disk in your
  63.                         floppy disk drive ('A', or 'B')
  64.                 b. From Windows 'run' A:\setup or B:\setup" and press
  65.                         Enter.
  66.                 c. Follow the screen directions.

  71.         To start the game, double click on the Monte Carlo Patience icon in
  72.         Windows.

  74.  **2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support**

  77.         If you have a problem, chances are you can fix it without
  78.         needing to get help. Try the following:

  80.         If the game says you have insufficient memory, or if it crashes,
  81.         try rebooting without loading any TSR programs, such as your
  82.         disk cache.

  84.         If the screen is to dark to see, try turning up the brightness on
  85.         your monitor.
