  21. Although the "USAPuzzle!" software package is a complete product in itself,
  22. it also serves as level 1 of the global "GeoPuzzle!" software package.
  23. Further information on this software is available by selecting "INFO"
  24. when you exit the "USAPuzzle!" game package.  If you do not wish to see
  25. this information, simply select "exit" at that time.

  27. Our geography software is in use in schools and other training facilities 
  28. in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia, and is in use on home 
  29. computers all over the world.

  31. Torpedo Software will send you a copy of "GeoPuzzle!" with your
  32. registration of "USAPuzzle!".  The cost is $15 US.  For shipment
  33. to countries outside the US, there is an additional $2 handling
  34. fee.  See the "INFO" section when you exit "USAPuzzle!" for 
  35. additional information. You can use the file "ordergeo.txt" to order 
  36. the software if you wish.  Please note that "GeoPuzzle!" is not 
  37. shareware, but copyrighted software.

  54. The "USAPuzzle!" software package is a fun and colorful way to become
  55. fluent in basic US geography.  It is effective for both children
  56. and adults.

  58. The "USAPuzzle!" software package may freely be copied or sold, by anyone,
  59. to anyone, any number of times, without royalty, to or from any machine
  60. or disk, for any reason.  Please pass it along to friends, local schools,
  61. or others who can benefit from its use.  You may not reverse engineer, 
  62. decompile or disassemble this software.

  65. INSTALLATION AND STARTUP
  66.  
  67. To install the "USAPuzzle!" software package you only need 
  68. to copy a single file called "usapuzzl.exe" to your hard drive.  
  69. You can use the Windows "File Manager" or the DOS "copy" command for 
  70. this purpose.

  72. Next set up a program item using the program manager "File / New" 
  73. menu selections.  To encourage usage, we recommend installing the 
  74. file in a "Games" program group.

  76. To start the software, simply double click the provided US flag icon,
  77. or use other Windows methods for starting a program.  You can also 
  78. run the software directly from your diskette or floppy drive if 
  79. preferred.

  81. You may also wish to copy this document file "usapuzzl.txt" to your 
  82. hard drive.

  84. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  85.  
  86. "USAPuzzle!" requires a 100% compatible IBM computer, Windows 
  87. 3.1 or later, 1 Mb of free RAM, a VGA monitor or better, and a mouse.  
  88. The software was tailored for 640 X 480 monitor resolution (standard 
  89. VGA).  "USAPuzzle!" and "GeoPuzzle!" run on Windows 3.x, Windows 95
  90. and Windows NT.

  92. This software package contains two US geography puzzles, one for
  93. the states and one for capitals.

  95. The software contains on line help:  select the ??? icon wherever
  96. it appears.
