  9. not be included in the manuals. A list of all files in this release is
  10. provided too.

  13. About PtGen
  14. ===========
  15.  
  16. PtGen is a prototype generator for Turbo Pascal 7.0 and Turbo Vision 2.0. It
  17. will let you build really quickly Turbo Vision screens including
  18. menubars, statuslines, dialog boxes and full helptext support.
  19. This is the protected mode version of PtGen. You need BP7.0 (and the
  20. supplied run-time manager) and a 80286 with at least 2MB to use it.

  23. How to avoid reading the manuals
  24. ================================
  25. Use the build in tutorial for a convenient introduction to working with
  26. PtGen.

  28. Note that you also need the file PTGCOM which includes the tutorials,
  29. docs, registration form etc.

  31. The online help is probably more up-to-date then the docs. Sorry...

  36. This version is again a public PtGen release. Presumably it is not
  37. without bugs though, but it should be more stable than the previous
  38. public beta.

  53. * You should restart PtGen between the 2nd and 3rd tutorial. I know the
  54.   bug, but not its cause.
  55. * One user reporter a 201 error while working on a MenuItem. As this
  56.   release doesn't has error checking, this should not be a problem for
  57.   you...
