  6.   The DMS MPU Interface Library includes the MPULIB.LIB library file, several
  7. header files, MPULIB.INF on-line help in VIEW format, and source code for the MPU
  8. utility programs.
  9.  
  10.   The header files and Lib file include functions, macros, and data types
  11. to modularize your code.  With these functions you can access the enhanced
  12. features of the driver, such as blocking reads for multi-threaded applications,
  13. and device configuration information for device independent applications.
  14.  
  15. With the on-line help file, you can use the native OS/2 VIEW facility to
  16. instantly access calling syntax, return codes, and examples, any or all of
  17. which can be transferred to the system clipboard to be pasted into your
  18. programs.
  19.  
  20. Also provided is the source code for the utility programs included with the
  21. device driver - examples of using the interface as a raw MIDI device, getting
  22. information from the interface, and using the record and play modes.  While
  23. none of these are examples of a sophisticated software system, they will
  24. provide an excellent starting point.
