Comments:
Display Quality:
The display quality of the insignia on the aircraft will vary according
to view and distance. The lower resolution of FS4 tends to make what were
perfect circles in AAF jagged and uneven when they are displayed in the
Flight Simulator. I have attempted to limit this effect as much as possible
but, as you will see, it is not possible to eliminate.
Flying the aircraft:
I have tried to get the flight model as close to the performance figures
as possible. One problem I could not overcome was a tendancy by the aircraft
to not slow down when the throttle is cut. This may have been true of the
real aircraft, but I have my doubts. To compensate for this effect, I suggest
you cut the throttle when starting your descent and then apply liberal amounts
of flap to slow down to landing speed. This particular aircraft did not
have spoilers so that was not an option to cure the problem.
Enjoy,
Rod
