I am aware that some of the insignia are not quite accuate. AAF allows only
182 parts in an assembly. Most use all 182 as it is, so some bits have to left
behind. For example most airlines write their names in a unique type face on
the side of the fusilage. One as simple as "United" will use 12 parts, parts I
think better used elsewhere. A futher consideration is that complex lettering
blocks up and becomes an illegible smear at a distance due to limited
resolution and the lack of atmospheric perspective.
AFX files will <not> be available, because I am a sloppy namer of parts
rendering them unintelligible even to me after a few weeks. (The < > s
indicate that I mean it, so no sob stories, please.) If you would like a
particular carrier, let me know. If I can do it, I will. Some are impossible,
though, given my structures. Some are just too ugly. Some though are nice and
I just didn't think of it till someone suggested it, for example the new
Northwest 757.
These files are intended for non-commercial use and may not be sold or included
in any other product offered for sale.
