Notes:
On the 19th Dec 1992, after one of the longest and toughest days of my life,
I successfully passed my FAA Check Ride to earn my Private Pilots Licence.
I thought it only fitting that I should make (as my first) a model of dear old
2427 Bravo on the first anniversary of that date.
So here it is and I hope there are others out there who have a soft spot for the
dear old Tomahawk and enjoy flying this model.
I've been trying for ages to get the canopy right and still haven't managed
the doors so decided to 'keep it simple'(!) and just get the shape as close
as I was able.
I've based the flight characteristics on the SIM1 Cessna but de-rated the HP
and tweaked a couple of other bits and it seems to behave quite realistically.
Glide rate without flaps is supposed to be 70kts and it does that OK. It's
stall speed is not that accurate and if anyone wants to do any fiddling go
right ahead and I'm happy to upload the AFX if anyone wants to do the canopy
properly!
This Aircraft was designed using Aircraft and Adventure Factory by the Bruce
Artwick Organisation Ltd & Mallard Software Inc.. is for use with Microsoft's
Flight Simulator 4. It is suitable for multi-player use.
This aircraft may not be used in any package (either commercial or private)
without the written authority of the designer.
I'd really welcome praise/well-wishes/advice/comments/more praise from anyone
anywhere.
