Anybody who states this is an IDIOT. First of all, they didn't promise
anything. Second, look at all those companies who add months to the
release date (Mechwarrior 2 is a good example, its been over a year since
the initial date set), or don't even release it (vaporware). They
released it a few days from the day they said it would be out. But why
would they release it late in the first place? They spend all day
working on DOOM ][ so its perfect with no bugs, work on Quake, etc. Why
release the 1.666 patch if its not done? Also, with Doom ][ coming out,
not many people will be playing 1.666 for more than a month or so.
