What would you have them say? "We're going to prosecute any pirate swine
we come across"? "Pirating does hurt business and it makes us wonder if
we should be investigating copy protection (which doesn't work anyway)"?
I'd bet on:
"We're really upset about the copies of Doom ][ that egot out there. Please
delete them iof you have them. Also, same for WinDoom."
Piracy is stealing. What else is there to say?
