  29. Anybody see my point? Where were the self-appointed copyright police when 
  30. people released the Star Wars or Aliens patches? It was blatant theft of 
  31. those companies' intellectual property, but nobody seemed to care, then, 
  32. probably because they were having fun, playing with their stolen 
  33. property...

  35. Piracy is wrong. There is no moral justification for piracy, whether it 
  36. is of software, printed materials, music, or other "intellectual 
  37. property". Many people tend to do it however, for instance, every single one 
  38. of you who ever played any of the above-mentioned graphics patches. Why 
  39. did you do it? Because you wanted to. You had access to these pieces of 
  40. stolen property, so you just took them, and were entertained by them, 
  41. without a thought to the people who created them originally. How noble 
  42. and moral of you.

  44. I find it amusing that so many people on this group don't notice the 
  45. interesting contradiction inherent in condemning others for a crime that 
  46. one has freely and openly commited oneself...
