I like games with good sound and graphics and that are easy to
customize. By the time you get finished with Doom, it can come out to
look like a totally different game - if you know how to work with it.
Me, I am glad for DEU for Dummies, as it was the only way I knew how to
begin to work with Doom.

Yup, losers admitting their place :)

SHAREWARE? iD is established already as the undisputed leader in
commercial-level gaming.. Doom Shareware defeated every known Sega,
Nintendo, Jaguar, Macintosh and coin-op game known to MAN. I mean, it
wiped the underside of iD's boots in the faces of all videogame makers.
Doom shareware knocked out the industry cold. Doom registered
axe-murdered it. The doom editing utilities now out (due to Doom's
modularity), buried and nailed in the coffin. Doom II was a redundant
BFG-9000 blast into the sloppy remains of the gaming industry.
Go check out the superexperimental "Cyclones" game that's supposed to
match Doom. It's bullshit. It's a total laugh.

(Oops, call from a friend.. deathmatch time! I bet they won't be able
to match this :-)

Crapogee last got the closest view of iD's backside just before Doom
came out. Now, as iD's Testarosa taillights recede in the distance,
they're putting on their own license plate: "My other car will be a
Testarosa." :-)
By the time Apogee gets their Testarosa's, iD's car will be a Rolls
Royce :-)
