  17. Id released a fully-functional demo of Doom2 to a magazine.  Someone at 
  18. that magazine then released a copy to a pirate distribution group called 
  19. Razor.  Any and all copy's of Doom 2 that you see before the release date 
  20. (Oct 3rd - Oct 10th) are illegal copy's obtained because of the above 
  21. act.  Although, alot of Doom lovers who would not otherwise be pirates 
  22. have gotten Doom2, out of love for the game.  Some people would like to 
  23. chastise us for doing so.  Well, they apparently don't understand what 
  24. we're doing, and most are terribly misinformed, or very critical of 
  25. others actions.  I may sound like I'm siding with the pirates.  Well, I 
  26. am.  I've noticed that everyone to complain about us having a copy says 
  27. we're raising the prices for them, which is just not true.  I'd explain 
  28. in this post, but I've already done so a few times in this group, so if 
  29. you're interested, you can hunt one down.
