Id released a fully-functional demo of Doom2 to a magazine. Someone at
that magazine then released a copy to a pirate distribution group called
Razor. Any and all copy's of Doom 2 that you see before the release date
(Oct 3rd - Oct 10th) are illegal copy's obtained because of the above
act. Although, alot of Doom lovers who would not otherwise be pirates
have gotten Doom2, out of love for the game. Some people would like to
chastise us for doing so. Well, they apparently don't understand what
we're doing, and most are terribly misinformed, or very critical of
others actions. I may sound like I'm siding with the pirates. Well, I
am. I've noticed that everyone to complain about us having a copy says
we're raising the prices for them, which is just not true. I'd explain
in this post, but I've already done so a few times in this group, so if
you're interested, you can hunt one down.
