I am getting sick and tired of this pointless debate about pirating
DOOM ][. It isn't helping anyone. I'd like to make a few things clear:
1. Whether or not it suits you, it IS illegal.
2. Yelling at pirates will not make them stop.
3. Yelling at pirates is annoying to the rest of us.
4. ID will lose NO money if the pirates later pay for it.
5. Some won't pay for it, but not near as many as didn't pay for DOOM,
because if they didn't like DOOM, they wouldn't pirate DOOM ][.
6. Remember how many people pirated the original DOOM. ID didn't
exactly go broke.
Anyway, the main thing is that it does no good whatsoever to have
a heart attack over it. NOTHING will change because of a shouting
match. I doubt that anyone has actually changed his/her view of the
matter. Anywaqy, just consider this flame bait. C-ya.
