  35. This is a very good analogy.  Very good.  Except for one thing, Id hasn't 
  36. lost any money yet.  Hardware and Software have completely different 
  37. laws.  If I say I'm going to pay for it, and I never had any intention of 
  38. paying for it, so I don't pay for it, Id isn't losing any money, because 
  39. I wasn't planning on sending them money anyway.  The copy I pirated still 
  40. got paid for, so Id made some money.  Unfortunatly, the copy of Doom2 
  41. going around wasn't paid for, so my analogy doesn't fit perfectly 
  42. either.  In the end, why are you making analogies?  Why not just tell me 
  43. one reason why what I'm doing is wrong, besides its against the law 
  44. (never had much respect for the law, anyway), and I'll happily delete 
  45. Doom2, and wait with the rest of you.
