"stealing the WAD"??? Are they claiming it as their own?? I fail to see
a significant difference between having it on a computer available for
download (ftp, CIS, AOL, Genie, BBS) and having it on a CD-ROM. As you
have pointed out, CIS, etc. all charge for download time. How is this
different than charging for a CDROM?
IMHO, when you upload it somewhere that it is openly available for
download, you have no valid complaint if they charge a fee for
distribution. If you want money, make it shareware. Or go into
distribution ON YOUR OWN, and wait for end-users to shower you with
dollars.
Personally, I think people like Seth Cohn are behaving like a jerk.
