It looks to me like this whole DOOM ][ piracy issue has been blown
WAY out of proportion on this newsgroup...at least as far as the Internet
is concerned. To see how bad things are, I did archie searches on
computers around the world. I could find only one ftp site had what looked
like an illegal copy of DOOM ][, and that one was in some kind of goofy
directory path that made it inaccessible. The great majority of people
probably have absolutely no idea where or how to get DOOM ][ via the
Internet. My advice to the pirates is to stop boasting about their copies
of DOOM ][ and my advice to everyone else is to stop whining about the
"piracy problem". I'm just going to BUY my copy of DOOM ][ like most other
people.people.
