As you all know, Doom begins on Mars (bare with me, it's a tenuous link, but
what the hell :). As we speak, the Magellan space probe is flitting around
Venus, mapping the planet.
So what?
Well, On Doom's day (Oct 10th), Magellan is being ditched, destroyed,
splatted, etc. So spare a though as you go nutso over Doom 2. :)
Oh, check out New Scientist, last week's issue. They've included a colour
photo of the Venusian surface. It's an impressive pic. I'm gonna scan it in.
Anyone who wants a copy, email me.
Ian.
PS. Oh the link, ah, well, Mars and Venus are both planets and, er, the
10th... :)
