  12. As you all know, Doom begins on Mars (bare with me, it's a tenuous link, but
  13. what the hell :). As we speak, the Magellan space probe is flitting around
  14. Venus, mapping the planet.

  18. Well, On Doom's day (Oct 10th), Magellan is being ditched, destroyed,
  19. splatted, etc. So spare a though as you go nutso over Doom 2. :)

  21. Oh, check out New Scientist, last week's issue. They've included a colour
  22. photo of the Venusian surface. It's an impressive pic. I'm gonna scan it in.
