However, reporting to a SysAdmin is likely to get the wrong person
in trouble. Quite often when rubbish like this makes it onto the
Usenet, it's because
(a) someone left their account logged in, and someone else sent the
message in their absence,
(b) someone didn't bother to read about Nettiquette.
In most of the postings of MMF I've seen in the past year or so, there
has been followup by the account owner apologizing for leaving his or
her terminal on. I think that account suspension is kind of a severe
penalty for carelessness.
