Not to beat a dead horse but, I heard (read) that the swatstika came
from Hitler imitating it when he passed by it when reading about
Jainists, a religion originating around northern india or thereabouts
a few thousand years ago.
About the roman empire using it, is that right? I don't recall ever
seeing that symbol on any ancient ruins or artifacts. Doesn't mean
it doesn't exist i suppose. (:
I have seen the Jainism symbol all over East Asia (spec. China & Taiwan)
due to its gradual spread and influence eastward from where it originated.
Jainism is not witchcraft. About no one recognizing it for anything
other than Nazi Germany, this is true for all of Europe and America.
But you got well over a billion people who only know it in its religious
context and probably only faintly heard of Nazis.
