If Disney's not causing trouble, they're getting into it. I'm sure
everyone recalls the little brew-haha over "Aladin"; a number of Arab groups
protested a line in the opening song, claiming it slandered and displayed
prejudicial feelings toward said groups. Now, with "The Lion King," it would
appear as if an obscure Japanese animation company wrote and produced the
story and cartoon some years ago, only to find that someone in Disney had
"dreamt up" almost the exact same story, with nearly the exact same names, as
they had years before. Add to this the "Roger Rabbitt" scandal (with
Jessica's disappearing undies), and you've got quite a few problems over very
recent times. Hmmm....
