Since I didn't see a FAQ anywhere........ (maybe I'm blind)
I've been told that you can do multiplayer Doom by connecting computers
directly from serial port to serial port --- WITHOUT a Local Area Network or
modems, etc. -- just the cord from serial port to serial port. My roommate and
I tried it (using the cord supplied by my college to hook our computers up to
the VAX, but instead of doing that we hooked them to each other) but my feeble
attempts didn't work. If it is possible, could someone explain how to do it?
