I just want to keep discussion going about the awe-inspiring
TRINITY.WAD, which I believe is without doubt the best
looking wad ever. It's got the most supremely detailed and
realistic architecture and textures I've ever seen, and I've
sampled most of the stuff on infant2 (and all the high-profile,
i.e. good, wads). Yes, it is easily better looking and more
impressive than any single level from the original 27 by id.
In gameplay, it is not the best ever, but it is still pretty
good.
Get it now (from alt.binaries.doom or one of the mirror sites
I guess). It is one that you do not want to miss.
