  25. I have witnessed several group splits now, among them comp.sys.ibm.pc.games .
  26. The proposal of better subject lines, just the way you guys described it,
  27. is made before *EVERY* group split. The problem is: it doesn't work.
  28. Especially on a games newsgroup, which is more frequently used by newbies
  29. or people who are not that familiar with Usenet policies, compared to e.g.
  30. a Linux newsgroup (the more complicated the topic, the more educated the
  31. postings), chances are high that people just won't adopt this scheme. I
  32. like the idea myself, but it really doesn't work.
