Doom runs ultra smooth on my 486 DX2-66. The VLB video upgrade REALLY made a
*big* difference.
You don't need to spend $200 to get a decent VL card tho'. I got a Cirrus
Logic 32-bit VLB SVGA card with 1-meg of memory and windows accelerator
graphics chip for only $79. Check it out. If you can't find a cheaper one,
e-mail me, and I will tell you who to mail order from.
