  12. Hey! Thanks to those of you who have obtained the Alpha. The feedback has 
  13. been very positive.

  15. Just a few points I'd like to stress before 9 comes out:

  17.     1) This is not a Crippled program - it's an uncompleted program.
  18.        That is what "Alpha" means. After Alpha, when the program is
  19.        reasonably stable and the extra features are in place, then
  20.        you get a Beta. If the Beta shows nothing major that needs
  21.        fixing, then you see a Release.

  23.     2) After you copy Ctl3dV2.DLL into your Windows\System directory,
  24.        you MUST delete it from everywhere else. If it finds a copy
  25.        anywhere else, is gives you the "not installed correctly"
  26.        message.

  28.     3) PLEASE don't just play! If you see something that doesn't work
  29.        "right", or craps you out of the editor, Let Me Know!!!
  30.        That way I can fix it now while the code is still relatively
  31.        fluid.

  33. Expect Alpha 9 within a few days. In it will be the new stairs 
  34. generation, proper save capability, and the ability to drag multiple 
  35. sectors into another sector, or even onto the edge of another sector (or 
  36. sectors!) I might get the automatic light sourcing in, but wouldn't bet 
  37. on it. (Oops, gave that away!)
