This is an example of how unfair E1M1 is...NOT! I (Jay) played Khan in
a tcpsetup game of Doom (Georgia to Illinois?). We played in E1M1 with the
following limitation: I was not allowed to use the rocket launcher. Sounds
fun, yes? The demo will prove that control of the rocket launcher area is
not the only deciding factor in an E1M1 deathmatch. I was allowed out
side and was allowed to pick up the blue armor. I accidently picked up the
rocket launcher once but quickly put it away. I tried to avoid picking up
the extra rockets too. Khan would have done much better had he not fragged
himself so much. I never had a self-frag (because I never used to rocket
launcher). The final score was Jay-10, Khan-5.
To get the demo, ftp the following file:
ftp.vet.uga.edu/pub/doom/lmp/16/unfair.zip

p.s. to see GIFs of me and my new 3 week old baby girl Jennifer, look in
the /pub/doom/pics directory.
