I don't understand all the PAS problems... I just turn on my computer,
run DOOM... and it works nicely (with the exception of having the stereo
sounds reversed).
Couple things to try:
a. IRQ of 7 or less
b. DMA of 3 or less
c. finding your PAS dir on your HD, putting it in your PATH statement,
and typing PAS RESET right before you run DOOM
d. checking memory configs and all that...
There's no reason why one or more of the above should not fix your problem.
