know of a good MIDI editor? (Preferably Freeware or Shareware. Better
yet, Public Domain) If so, please tell me about it. If it makes a
difference, I have a standard Sound Blaster. (No stereo, 8-bit, etc. So
what if I don't want to spend a gizillion dollars to hear an Imp roar in
stereo???)
Thanks a lot

I won't ask why.. ;P
If you have a Midi editor that produces *.mid (standard MIDI files), you
can use the program MIDI2MUS.EXE to get the *.mid file to become a *.MUS
file. Then using the DMMUSIC.EXE program, you can insert that music into
a PWAD or the IWAD of doom itself.
Both these programs are available on AOL. Just do a file search under
GAMES, all dates, for "DMMUSIC or MIDI2MUS". You should find them. If
you can't find them that way, search the GAMES for "DOOM and MUS".
Good Luck
