  21. I have had the exact opposite problem.  I couldn't run DOOM on my machine
  22. (DX2-66/8MB).  First the keyboard would lock up, then eventually it would
  23. beep and lock up completely.  I tried everything to solve the problem.  A
  24. couple of days ago, I installed OS/2.  I was curious, so I started DOOM from
  25. a full screen OS/2 DOS shell, and the damned thing ran perfectly.  I've been
  26. playing for a week now and haven't had a single problem.  Now if I can just
  27. get the multimedia support going.....  (BTW, the PC speaker plays fine)
