Has anyone successfully played DOOM (1.2reg) in an OS/2 Dos Shell? I saw
a FAQ on it a while back, but it didn't work for me (that was still 1.0
though). I have a 486DX2/66 with 8 megs RAM and OS/2 2.1 (no CSD) using
Ray Gwinns com drivers (if it matters) and a SB16 w/ ASP sound card.
I have seen people post who seem to be playing DOOM under OS/2 - although
the sound doesn't work for them. When I try it, I get to the opening
screen and it locks up.
Oh well, for now I'm happy doing a dual-boot to play doom (funny, I don't
seem to be running OS/2 much anymore! ;)
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
