  24. Make sure that you PAS's IRQ setting is below 8 (like 7 or 5)

  26. My MVSOUND settings look like this:

  33. DOOM hates sound card IRQs set higher than8.  I ised to get 1.2 to work with a 
  34. IRQ setting of 10, but sometimes (10% of the time) the sound would get 
  35. chundered, sometimes causing my PAS to freak out and running PAS set x would 
  36. lock up my system..  DOOM 1.5beta will NOT work with a soundcard IRQ above 8 
  37. (okay, it will run, but the sound is terrible!).  After moving my PAS IRQ to 5 
  38. (and moving my mouse, turning of COM 1 to do it) and all tehe other hell I 
  39. went through, it works without a hitch.
