After a poor preformance on Woody's (mine) part, I lost e1m5 to Jay.
I don't like this level either (or any iD levels, for that matter)
but we couldn't get ledges to work, I don't know why.
I nearly got him with the chainsaw a few times, but the rest sucked.
I was playing like shit, kept fragging myself, and getting trapped in a
corner with a pistol.
I don't think I have done this bad since I first started. I asked Jay
not to post it, but he can if he wants. After his 9 or so frag I started
using the chainsaw regardless of what I had. You think e1m1 was a bad
test of ability, e1m5 is even worse.
When I think about it, though, maybe I am just good on these "frag fest"
levels, like ledges, etc. I don't seem to beat good players on the
iD levels, but I rarely lose a level on deathmatch only levels. Anyone
have any insight? I know one thing is that I like the plasma, and e1mX
doesn't have it.
Demented and Sad,
Woody
