  13. Help!   I've got Doom 1.2 and DEU 5.21. I can run the "Kneedeep" wad file
  14. just fine, but when I try one of the other wads that came with my DEU down
  15. load (such as s1.wad), or one of my own wad files (carefully created by
  16. following the DEU tutorial exactly) my computer just crashes.

  18. The two types of crashes involve either a black box on my screen with red
  19. and green squiggles, or when it gets ready to switch levels to the wad
  20. file, my PC gets stuck repeating the screen sweep that comes just before
  21. the new level begins.

  23. Also, I have experienced some crashes of DEU upon saving a just-created
  24. wad file.

  26. I am running a 486SX33 with a Diamond Speedstar Pro VL Bus video card and
  27. Logitech Soundman sound card.
