Don't forget that the crazy designers want you to use a SERIAL port for
position information. So forget being on-line with a modem and using your
mouse and you HMD. I exchanged messages with one of the designers, and he
flat-out told me that it was more important that the customer not have to
open the case to install their HMD than to not take up a precious serial
port. Don't they know that the first people to rush out and buy their HMD
will be the hacker types who want to do everything with it? Don't they
know that soon afterwards, Logitech or someone will come out with one that
DOESN'T use a serial port? Anything for a quick buck, I suppose...
