My most satisfying frag (and I've had alot of them) was in
chase.wad. Many thanks to the author of that great deathmatch
wad. There is a section in chase with a very dark hallway
with a door at the end. A favorite trick of ours is to hide in
the pitch black darkness at the end of the hallway. When
someone opens the door at the end and walks in, he will take a
rocket in the gut without ever seeing it.
I (Indigo) hid in a small alcove next to the place where we
wait with the rocket launcher. Green soon came in a positioned
himself in the usual spot to wait for someone to open the door
at DDD. Green didn't bother to look in the alcove for me,
so I was facing into his right side at point blank range.
I took my time and casually sent Green the message "hello",
cut him down with the plasma gun, and then sent the message "goodbye."
I loved it!
