That is what we determined at my work...The NIC addresses determine the
color of players on NET DOOM. We even switched cards to test this
hypothesis, and our colors switched too. So it strongly suggests that
this is key. However, I haven't a clue how modem doom colors are
determined (never play it). Probably whoever calls and answers? Just a
guess.
