I am currently have Doom running on two machines with a serial link, all works
fine except that the motion is rather jerky. Both machines run smoothly on
their own.
The null-modem cable I constructed is about 20m long and is the 3 wire type.
If I were to rewire the cable with a 7-wires (handshaking etc) would I
see any increase in the performance, ie would Doom use it.
Thanks in advance.
Stephen.
