  18. It is very fast and playable on an Indy/R4000SC, can't say anything about
  19. the PrimCache-Only machines. Even with the -2 or -3 option, the frame rate
  20. is quite smooth, but with -4 it gets rather sluggish.
  21. You can't get sound under IRIX 5.1.x, because a maths library is missing.
  22. Just move sndserver to a directory which is not included in $PATH - all
  23. will be fine except you won't get any sound. I think, even under IRIX 5.2,
  24. you will only get the sound effects. Playing the music is impossible, you
  25. need a PCM chip (synthetic sound) for this, and such a chip is (of course)
  26. not included in the SGI-sound system.
