Since I had a little time on Sunday, I thought I'd give this a
try. I've got it working as a client from SunOS 4.1.3_U1 with socks
and udprelay.
Our setup here is kinda esoteric so I thought I'd post to let
anyone with a similar setup know that it does work but it requires a
little code hacking to get it to work in our setup.
We have a firewall that is running socks (socks is a proxy
server that allows clients to connect to internet services without
being directly on the internet.) and udprelay (since socks only passes
along TCP/IP packets, it needs udprelay to push the UDP stuff). I had
to make standard (for socks) changes to the Makefile and also change the
sendto and recvfrom stuff in fspclient/client.0.0-h+/lib.c. Once I
linked in the libsocks.a and Rsendto.o everything compiled and worked
just fine.
I still have the source tree on-line, so if anyone wants to
see exactly what I changed, just e-mail me. I'll be happy to help
anyone out.
