Nope. That's what 'beta' means. They are letting a limited number of
people <namely everyone on the Internet ;> play the 1.5 version in return
for reporting any bugs they find. Then id goes back, fixes the bugs, and
releases the new public version. It was only supposed to take a few days
but some bugs in the sound code came up.....
