I would like to try to play doom over the internet. I did this with
a machine running tcpsetup with cslip as the packet driver. This
worked but was way too slow. I have another machine directly on the net,
and want to see if it is any faster. It has a 3com etherlink II card.
I boot the from a floppy and load 3c503.com (the driver) and ipxbyu.com.
The driver finds the address etc, everything looks ok. Then I fire up
tcpsetup, and the machine locks when it "looks for nodes". Anyone try to
run tcpsetup with an etherlink II card? How did you do it?
If you have has success, e-mail me with you autoexec.bat and config.sys-
thanks a bunch
