  35. Not to mention the specific advantages of the chainsaw in Deathmatch...

  37. Not many players (that i have seen) really make much use of the chainsaw 
  38. in deathmatch, but if used properly it can be devastating.  Usually most 
  39. people stick to distance weapons (especially the rocket launcher and 
  40. chaingun), but if you can get up close and really start charging them 
  41. with the chainsaw, always moving and never stoping,  you can really freak 
  42. people out -- especially newbies :)  Anyway, like i said it can be an 
  43. awesome weapon if wielded properly, most people end up backed into a 
  44. corner and unable to shoot (not unlike a helpless caco :).  I have been 
  45. able to add up multiple unanswered frags this way.

  47. BTW, the best way to counter the chainsaw attack is to run straight 
  48. backwards while your opponent is charging you, and let him have it with 
  49. the rocket launcher or chaingun.  In this case, if the second player 
  50. keeps his head, the chainsaw attack usually turns into the 'chainsaw 
  51. suicide' run.....
