  26. There is at least one perfect place to use the chainsaw: the entrance
  27. corridor to the large NE room in level E2M7 - Spawning Vats.  This room
  28. is easy to get to upon entering the level - just keep to the left.  This
  29. room is littered with boxes and on the Ultra-Violent mode is just filled
  30. with demons, the perfect enemy for the chainsaw since they can't shoot
  31. at you - they just want to get close and bite your head off!

  33. Anyhow the entrance is a narrow corridor with descending steps and some
  34. kind of switch that stops you backing out once you descend the stairs.
  35. If you're armed with the chainsaw you can calmly carve up all the demons
  36. without losing any health or bullets.  Just plant yourself firmly in 
  37. the middle of the corridor facing forward so the demons can't
  38. outflank you - if you're too much to one side they can kind of nibble
  39. on your flank.  When all in front of you are dead, run out into the
  40. room and then back to lure some more demons to their death.  Soon the
  41. entire corridor will be littered with dead demons!

  43. There may be other good places to use the chainsaw but for me this
  44. was the defining instance - a narrow hallway and lots of enemies who
  45. couldn't shoot at me.
