I donno much about the serial game play- but on an ipx network the colors
are definatly attached to the serial numbers on the network cards. Every
ethernet network card has a serial number and it appears that the card
with the lowest id is given grey and so on. I've taken ethernet cards
out and put them in other machines and always saw the color move with them.
Oh, and ALL my machines are EXACTLY the same.
