A new addition to the 1.4 and 1.5 versions has been the ability to
mix up to 8 different sounds at the same time. But, whenever, I get more
than 8 baddies in the room making stupid sounds, etc., I start to get a
fuzzy static sound. Has anyone else heard this and is there a way to fix
it? I have an AWE32, which I have set at 5 DMA channels and 8 sfx to mix.
I don't think this would matter, but I also have a Waveblaster which is set
at General Midi
.
Thanks! -Frank, Mouser
