I'm not too sure. It doesn't seem to. It may be that DOS4/GW does somehow.
My roommate and myself each use 80486DX-33's, he's got 16mb RAM, and I've got
20. We also have another system networked, that we call "the server" though
it's not. It's an 80486_SX_-33, with 8megs RAM. It landmarks (v1.14) the
same speed as the DX's. Doom DOES run SLOWER om it than either of our personal
systems, but I believe that's 'cuz of the memory. The server and MY system
are both ISA, and the server has the faster (dos) video board, tseng 4k
chipset.
