The political situation in the middle east has deteriorated rapidly following the assassination of Palastinian leader Yassar Arafat 4 days ago. The middle east peace accord fostered by the United States lies in ruin; wide-spread riots have broken out in Palestine, and spilling over into Israel. Two days ago Palastinian militants ambushed a group of Israeli citizens, killing all 38 and claiming it to be retribution for the death of their leader. At 0600 yesterday Israeli forces poured into Palestine and have once again seized control of the entire area in an attempt to quell the errupting violence.
Enraged by what they view to be the unjust invasion of Palastine, the Syrian and Jordian governments have declared war upon Israel, and have vowed to restore the independence of Palestine.

MISSION OBJECTIVE

While no ground action has begun yet, several air battles between Jordanian, Syrian, and Israeli aircraft have taken place. Israel, hoping that a quick and decisive victory will force both Amman and Damascus back to the negotiation table, has asked the United States for military assistance. Washington has responded by sending a contingent of USAF F-22A's of the First Tactical Fighter Wing.
Knocking out enemy air power is of paramount importance. The Jordanian AirForce has committed a large number of Mirage fighters to an air base just over the border which is well within striking distance of dozens of high value Israeli installations.
You are to penetrate Jordanian space and destroy three hardened aircraft shelters.
Israeli F-15 Eagles will punch a hole through enemy combat air patrols, while Israeli F-16 Fighting Falcons suppress the air base's formidable anti-aircraft defenses.
