  1. Quake II may need to be updated on your computer 
  2. before you can play Zaero.  If you're having 
  3. trouble running Zaero please check your version 
  4. number of Quake II.  You'll find the version number 
  5. on the lower right hand side of the Quake II console 
  6. screen (when you start up a game.)  You'll need 
  7. Quake II version 3.14 or higher to get the most 
  8. out of Zaero.

  10. Known Bugs
  11. ------------------
  12. Due to a conflict between our ambition and Quake II's protocol, some players
  13. may experience missing sounds in some maps.á Gameplay is otherwise
  14. unaffected from this conflict.

  16. The affected maps are:á zdef1, zdef4, ztomb1, ztomb3.
  17.  
  18. Plasma Shield SPrites are outside the PAK file
  19. for programming reasons.
